Lifford Lane swing bridge
This use to be a lift bridge and in the form was the scene of one of the early well-publicised campaign events of the IWA when it had to be raised with great difficulty by Tom Rolt's boat Cressy with which the IWA were enforcing the right of navigation on the severely-neglected northern half of the Stratford-on-Avon Canal.
