Duckett's Junction

This bridge is over the start of the Hertford Canal or Duckett's Cut, the latter name coming from its original proprietor, Sir George Duckett (Jr). It was built as a cross-connection between the Regent's and the Lee. It was a financial disaster under Duckett's ownership and he went bankrupt and sold the canal to the Regent's company.
