Ironbridge lock

The Grand Junction Canal skirts round Watford, passing through Cassiobury and Grove Parks. Ironbridge Lock (seen here from upstream) is probably the nearest point to the town centre, and lies at the beginning of Cassiobury Park. It takes its name not from the bridge over the canal, which is clearly not made of iron, but from a former bridge over the stream near the canal.
