In Calcutt locksThis was taken while we were waiting between the first and second Calcutt (or Wigram's) locks. These are the first one meets (in the direction we were travelling) of the distinctive wide locks that replaced the original narrow locks on the two Warwick Canals after the 1930 amalgamation of companies to form the Grand Junction Canal as we know it today. |
