nbs President & Kildare

To many people, myself include, the high-spot of any boat gathering comes if the Josher steamer President and its butty Kildare are present. Here they are reversing to their mooring on what was originally the main line of the Oxford Canal, but became the Braunston branch when the main line was straightened by building Braunston Puddle Banks to cut off the old Wolfhamcote Loop, part of which now forms the entrance to Braunston Marina.
