The rubbish boat making its way through the moorings at the south-east corner of the Pool to collect the boaters' domestic rubbish direct from the boats.
The boats on the left of the picture are moored on Rembrandt Gardens. On the opposite side, Ivor Batchelor's working pair Mountbatten and Cedar are moored to the South towpath. In the background, the arm leading to Paddington Basin disappears under the Harrow Road bridge towards Paddington Stone Wharf where we have our main trade site.
