Spon Lane locks
We are in Spon Lane bottom lock. Ben (in the striped jumper) is with the crew of another boat.
Beyond the lock is Bromford Junction where the Spon Lane Locks Branch meets the New Main Line. From here to Puddling Lane Junction, Telford's New Main Line is a widening of part of Brindley's original line to Wednesbury.
