At the Limehouse Festival
The area in the foreground is the roof of the Limehouse Link road tunnel.. When it was first built it was sandy and became known as "the beach". It was under water at high spring tides. Since the time of this picture this area has been built up to form a new north quay and has some large blocks of flats standing on it.
