Aldermaston lift bridge
The crossing here was originally by a standard K&A swing bridge. During the years the navigation was derelict the road got busier and the bridge was fixed and strengthened. Now it has been replaced by this automated lift-bridge, with time-interlocks in order to minimise the disruption to what is now a busy road.
