On the Tame Valley

The Tame Valley Canal was added to the BCN in 1838-44 to relieve congestion on the existing routes, particularly Aston and Farmer's Bridge locks.

Its first few hundred yards pass under the multiple modern bridges of the Gravelly Hill road interchange, also known as Spaghetti Junction,
