Festival mooringsThe main Festival moorings were on the "beach" - a sand-covered structure that is actually the roof of the Limehouse Link road tunnel. The boat in the foreground is Richard Packer's Misbourne II which he was later to re-name Robert Child after one of his ancestors who had founded Child's Bank and which was one of the banks who lent the Duke of Bridgewater the money to build his canal. |
