King's Norton
The stop lock here is just before the junction between the Stratford-on-Avon and Worcester & Birmingham Canals. Once it controlled the difference of water level between the two canals, hence the guillotine gates at both ends so that it could work whichever level was the higher. Now they are both under BW ownership, it stands permanently open.
