Market Drayton

The approach to Market Drayton wharf from the south. The brick wall on the left indicates an aqueduct over the infant River Tern. Some miles west of here is the remains of another aqueduct over the same river, at London-on-Tern, which was Britain's first iron trough aqueduct and possibly the inspiration for Pontcysyllte.
