Foxton Junction

Here the Leics & N'hants Union Canal turned eastwards (left in this photo) towards Market Harborough. It never did reach its intended destination, Northampton. At Foxton the later Grand Union Canal (nowadays called the Old Grand Union for the sake of clarity) started its route to join the Grand Junction at Norton. It began by climbing this flight of locks.
