Detail of an interesting lock-tail footbridge, which is cantilevered out from one side to leave a gap for the tow-rope, unlike the better-known ones on the Stratford-on-Avon Canal which are cantilevered out from both sides to leave a central gap.
I think the boat ahead of us was having problems coming in to the side to pick up its lock crew.
