Etruscan Bone Mill seen from canal

Etruscan Bone Mill

This was built by Josiah Wedgwood at around the same time as the canal. Its purpose was grinding calcined bones, as an additive used in the manufacture of bone china. It is now (or was in 1985?) open to the public.
