Pudding Mill River

We are looking into the Pudding Mill River at its junction with the Old River Lea. This river used to connect the Old River Lea to St Thomas' Creek, before the latter was re-aligned in the 1930s. Since then various bits of it have been lost at various dates and only a short length at its northern end remains in water. There was a recent proposal to restore the whole length of the Pudding Mill, but the latest news is that by 2012 it will be underneath the main Olympic stadium.
