On the left is the barge-boat. By it is the crab-winch (used to work the lee-board). The wheel and compass binnacle are in the centre, with next to it the companionway to the skipper's cabin. The hatch in the foreground leads down to that part of the original cargo-hold which now forms the engine-room.
