Limehouse Reach

The view down-river from the entrance to Limehouse Lock.

Modern housing has replaced warehouses along most of the river front opposite us. The pier towards the left of the picture is one that was put in for the new water-bus services set up in 2000. Beyond that (left of the picture) is the canopy of one of the last deep water terminals to remain in use this far up-river. It has been disused for a few years now.
