Regent's Park

Regent's Park

This view of the canal through Regent's Park is looking westwards (i.e. towards Little Venice) from one of the footbridges, which is also a covered aqueduct carrying the Tyburn Brook over the canal. The gardens in the background beyond the towpath are those of Grove Lodge, one of the original villas built in the park, and the first building to be designed by the famous architect Decimus Burton.
