The Western approach to Maida Hill Tunnel, which is 272 yards long. The spoil from digging this tunnel was used to level the ground to form the nearby Lord's cricket ground. A few years ago the approach cutting to this end of the tunnel had to have major remedial work done on it, since the original builders of 1812 had not given the retaining walls any foundations. The moorings on the left (Blomfield Road) are where we used to moor the original Felis Catus.
