In May, 1996, the Thames sailing barge Pudge (left) came into Limehouse Basin to deliver three pieces of the IWA Jubilee jigsaw. It had brought the Chelmsford Branch piece from Maldon, collecting the Kent & East Sussex Branch piece and the South London Branch piece on the way. At Limehouse it made a rendezvous with the FMC steam narrow boat President and its butty Kildare (both in the background), who were to convey the jigsaw pieces to Canalway Cavalcade, where they would collect some more pieces and take them all on to Birmingham, where the jigsaw was to be assembled for the World Canals Conference.
