Battlebridge Basin

This was originally called Horsfall Basin, after the entrepreneur who built it. It was never owned by the canal company until purchased by BW in 2000. The moorings in the foreground are those of the London Narrowboat Association, a collective who own the free-hold mooring rights.The building right of centre is the London Canal Museum which occupies an old ice warehouse.
