Battlebridge Basin, off the Regent's Canal near King's Cross, was opened in 1825. It was originally called Horsfall Basin, after the William Horsfall, who built it. It was never owned by the canal company until the freehold was purchased by BW in 2000. This picture shows a bunch of visiting boats who spent the night there en route between Canalway Cavalcade 1996 and South London IWA's first Campaign Cruise past Parliament.
