The gas-holders of the former Kensal Green Gasworks tell us that Little Venice is not far away. The gasworks had two canal basins. One of these has now been turned into an activity centre for canoeing etc. The other has been used (unofficially, I think) for residential moorings for some years, but is now about to be redeveloped. The new development proposes to retain some moorings.
