Harrow Road

Harrow Road

These houses in the Harrow Road back onto the cut. At one time one of them was a fish-and-chip shop and was happy to sell its wares to boaters from its kitchen window. Nowadays the end house is a canalside café with a small mooring pontoon. The footbridge in the background is one of two that get called Ha'penny Bridge from the tolls that used be charged.
