This is a new design of boat for clearing weed and rubbish from the water. The sloping section dipping into the water is a conveyor belt that takes the rubbish into a hopper. It is used by what used to be called the Lower Lea Project, now the Lee Rivers Trust, and is seen here moored at their base by Bow Locks.
