Bow Creek

Bow Creek

Bow Creek, the tidal estuary of the Lee, is seen here at low tide. From here the navigation follows a winding course to join the Thames at Lee Mouth, east of the Isle of Dogs. The bullnose of Bow lock island (seen here before the recent reconstruction of the locks was complete) is in the centre of the picture.
