COWLEY PEACHEY JUNCYION

Cowley Peachey junction

Seen here from the main line facing south. The bridge carries the towpath of the Slough Branch, which leads off to the right. Built in 1882, the Slough Branch was one of the last canals to be built in Britain.

At the time of writing (December 2001) a new marina is in process of construction next to the junction.
