Further up Abbey Creek, where it divides to go round an island. Beyond the island, Abbey Creek becomes the Channelsea River, which is now culverted.
The vacant site to the right was once Berk Spencer's chemical works, where Chaim Weisman, later to be the first President of the State of Israel, worked as a post-graduate student on attachment from Manchester University.
