Thanks to Bruce
Peckett, Kevin Maslin & others who gave me useful advice when I was
learning how to create my first site, and subsequently. Thanks also to those
two and others who helped with the pre-launch testing of this site.
The site should be
readable with any reasonably up-to-date browser. It does not use frames. It
does use tables. It has been tested in Netscape Communicator (or, for the more
recent paes, Firefox) and in Internet Explorer (various versions over the years
from IE 5 to 7.0 ). Excluding pages (such as the Maps and Cartoons sections)
which are inherently unsuited to text-only browsers, many pages have also been
tested in the text-only browser, Lynx. The site is optimised for viewing at
1024x768 or 800x600 resolution, but should work (although not quite so well) at
640x480.
Constructive comments (in which I include the
identification of problems) about this site are always welcome. E-mail
me. |
