On 21 November, EDM 214 was tabled on the subject of DEFRA cuts and their effect in
Wales. The waterways cuts are mentioned but aren't the main focus.

We were led to believe that there are likely to be a number
of further EDMs dealing with the effects of the cuts in different regions. The
first two of these were:
EDM 459 tabled on 11 December by Bob Laxton MP and dealing
with northern waterways.

dealing with the Midlands.
