Charlotte Atkins, MP for Staffordshire Moorlands, has
secured a Westminster Hall adjournment debate, due to take place from 9.30 am
to 11.00 am in the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday 27th
March on "Inland Waterways in the West
Midlands".
This is the last week of parliamentary business before the
Easter recess, and provides a good opportunity to once again raise the issue of
funding cuts to British Waterways in particular, and to keep pressure on
government for better funding for canals and river navigations. |
