As I was coming down the
Shroppie, The Missus got distinctly stroppy, And so I shut her in the
galley, And kept here there throughout the Rally.
I felt that I should not
applaud When Pa threw Baby overboard, And Mummy cried in great distress,
Daddy, darling, mind her dress.
The windlass slipped and hit
Jims head, He gave a cry and dropped down dead. I would have run to
help him, but Hed dropped my mobile in the cut.
While on a lengthy inland
cruise, I wrote to Maud with all the news, And then I heard shed
died of cramp - Just too late to save the stamp.
